Cowan Finch currently serves as the Head of Strategic Partners & Advisory Services at Origin Energy, a position held since April 2023. With extensive experience in the energy services sector, Cowan has been a Director and COO at Synergy Efficiency Solutions since September 2012, where focus is on delivering energy efficiency solutions across Indonesia and the U.S. Previous roles include GM of Large Business at Genesis, Non-Executive Director at Ecotricity NZ, and Head of Private Capital at Snowball Effect. Cowan's legal expertise was further developed at Murcia Pestell Hillard as a Commercial Lawyer and at Bell Gully as a Solicitor. Additionally, Cowan has participated in leadership initiatives through committees for the Australia Indonesia Business Council and the Asia New Zealand Foundation.
