Declan Carroll

Declan Carroll has extensive work experience in the IT and finance sectors. Declan began their career at Shamrock Foods Limited, where they served as a Financial Controller, managing a team and overseeing finance functions. Declan then joined IAWS Group Plc as an IT Financial Controller, leading ERP implementations and negotiating cost savings with vendors. Declan also played a key role in developing a central IT shared service operation. Later, they joined Origin Enterprises Plc, where they served as an ERP Program Manager and IT Governance & Compliance Officer. In these roles, they managed ERP and business integration projects, developed IT strategies, and established shared service operations. Overall, Declan Carroll has a strong background in IT governance, project management, and finance.

Declan Carroll has a degree in ACMA from the Waterford Institute of Technology, with a focus on CIMA. In addition to their degree, they have obtained several certifications including Certified Information Security Manager® (CISM) from ISACA in August 2016, Cobit 5 from ISACA in March 2016, PMP from the Project Management Institute in October 2015, and ACMA from THE CHARTERED INSTITUTE OF MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANTS in May 1993.
