Michael Nelson has over two decades of experience in the event planning and hospitality industry. As the Managing Partner and Chief Executive Officer of Origin Event Planning since July 2009, Michael leads a fully IATA approved meetings and event production company that specializes in comprehensive destination management solutions. Prior to this, Michael served as the Director of Sales and Marketing at Embassy Suites from December 2000 to December 2011 and as a Market Sales Manager for Marriott International, representing seven hotels in the Las Vegas area from July 1991 to December 2000. Michael holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Hotel, Motel, and Restaurant Management from Northern Arizona University, earned between 1990 and 1995.
