Stuart Bishop

Stuart Bishop has over 25 years of work experience in the housing industry. Stuart is currently the Head of Property Compliance at Origin Housing, where they are responsible for ensuring compliance in various areas such as gas safety, electrical safety, and asbestos. Prior to this role, they served as the Property Compliance Manager at the same company, managing compliance matters for a portfolio of around 6500 properties. Stuart has also held positions at Circle Housing, Paragon Community Housing Ltd., Paradigm Housing Group, Chiltern Hundreds Housing Association, and Network Housing Group, where they gained expertise in asset management, maintenance, and procurement. Throughout their career, they have consistently focused on improving processes, budget management, and implementing strategies to enhance performance.

Stuart Bishop's education history begins with their attendance at Sir Thomas Rich's Grammar from 1974 to 1982. During this time, they earned 3A/AO Levels and 8 O Levels. Following their time at Sir Thomas Rich's Grammar, Stuart attended Gloucestershire College of Arts & Technology from 1982 to 1986, where they obtained both an OND and HND in Building Studies. Finally, from 1986 to 1987, Stuart pursued a Diploma in Building Technology & Management at the University of the West of England.
