Carol Smith

Carol Smith currently serves as the Manager of Privacy Services and Privacy Officer at Orillia Soldiers' Memorial Hospital since May 2022. Prior to this role, Carol held the position of Supervisor of Information Management and Privacy at the City of Barrie from July 2019 to May 2022, where responsibilities included overseeing the City's Records and Information Management program and Access and Privacy Program. From January 2006 to July 2019, Carol was the Records/FOI Coordinator at the County of Simcoe, coordinating the Records Management Program and managing Freedom of Information requests. Earlier experience includes serving as a Program Coordinator at the Business Education Council of Niagara from 1994 to 2005, where Carol coordinated funds for employment programs. Carol is an alumnus of Niagara College.
