Patrick Daws has extensive experience in the food and beverage industry. Patrick most recently served as the Head of Food and Beverage at Orinda Country Club starting in 2020. Prior to that, they worked at Blackhawk Country Club from 2015 to 2020, where they held the positions of Beverage Director and Food Manager, as well as Sommelier. At Blackhawk Country Club, they were responsible for developing the wine list and beverage program, managing inventory, and negotiating with distributors and wineries.
Before that, Patrick worked at Tavistock Restaurants LLC as an Operations Manager from 2012 to 2015. In this role, they oversaw bar operations, created operating budgets, managed labor and controllable costs, and trained and managed a large team of employees. Patrick also handled social media marketing and collaborated with the Executive Chef and Events Coordinator for seamless execution of events.
Patrick's early work experience includes serving as a Manager/Partner at Casa Orinda Restaurant from 1998 to 2012. Overall, Patrick Daws has a strong background in food and beverage management, with expertise in wine selection, inventory control, budgeting, and team management.
Patrick Daws attended Saint Mary's College of California from 2002 to 2006, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Economics.
