Steve Haufler

Steve Haufler has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of swimming coaching and instruction. Steve started their career in 1974 as a Swimming Coach at U.C. Santa Barbara, Terrapins Swim Team, and Loveland Swim Team. In 1981, they founded and became the Head Coach of the Montclair Swim Team and also established the Haufler Aquatics Swim School, which they ran until 2010. Steve Haufler has also served as the Head Swimming Coach at Miramonte High School and Skyline High School from 1983 to 1990.

In 1999, they became the Aquatics Director and Head Swimming Coach at Orinda Country Club, as well as a USA Swimming Coach at Orinda Aquatics. Steve continued their coaching career internationally by conducting Private Swim Clinics in various countries from 2008 to 2020, including locations such as Dubai, Ireland, Iceland, Sweden, Peru, and South Africa. Additionally, they were a Featured Speaker at the ASCA World Clinic in 2007 and a Featured Coach for Swim Instructional Videos produced by Go Swim Productions from 2008 to 2016.
