Jonathan Magaziner

Jonathan Magaziner is Vice President at Orion and is responsible for the origination, due diligence, structuring and execution of investments.

Prior to joining Orion, Jonathan was an attorney with the Private Capital Transactions Group at Ropes & Gray LLP. While at Ropes & Gray, Jonathan represented a number of leading private equity firms, hedge funds, credit funds and operating companies in traditional and special situation transactions, including leveraged buyouts, growth equity investments, senior secured and mezzanine debt financings, structured financings and restructurings.

Jonathan also brings seven years of global investing experience developing and financing renewable energy projects. He previously worked with Gerrit and Mark at K Road Power Holdings, where he was responsible for sourcing, developing and financing the firm's portfolio of greenfield and acquired utility-scale solar projects. Prior to K Road, Jonathan worked at the William J. Clinton Foundation, where he advised governments and development finance institutions in India, South Africa, Australia and elsewhere on the design and implementation of renewable energy projects and incentive programs.
