Rob Rusk

Chairman at Orion Energy Partners

Rob Rusk is an Orion Co-Founder and former Partner, who now serves as Chairman of the Senior Advisory Board.

Mr. Rusk is an observer to the board of directors of Tiger Rentals and MidCentral Energy Partners.

Mr. Rusk has over 30 years' experience in private investing, leveraged finance, M&A, leveraged buyouts, capital markets, distressed investing and restructuring, and has led teams executing energy focused transactions in excess of $30 billion. Prior to co-founding Orion Energy, he was a Founding Partner and Managing Director of Cypress Associates, a middle-market investment banking advisory firm based in New York. Prior to Cypress, Mr. Rusk was a Managing Director in the Power and Utilities Investment Banking Department of CIBC World Markets, an Investment Banker at Bear Stearns & Co. and Bankers Trust Company, where he completed its Management and Credit Training Program.

Mr. Rusk received a B.A. from Hamilton College and a M.B.A. from the Wharton School Business of the University of Pennsylvania. He has been qualified as an expert in leveraged finance in federal bankruptcy court. In addition to the board observer roles above, he is a member of the Board of Directors of Goodway Technologies Corporation and the WGA Caddie Scholarship Fund as well as several other industry and charitable boards and associations.
