Zhao Yang

Zhao Yang is Senior Vice President, Senior Counsel and is responsible for legal, structuring and compliance matters across the firm’s operational and investment activities.

Previously, Ms. Yang was Vice President on the Infrastructure and Power Finance team at Nomura Securities International, where she evaluated, structured and executed investments in power (traditional and renewable), oil & gas and infrastructure assets.

Prior to Nomura, Ms. Yang was Senior Associate in the Project Development & Finance practice at Latham & Watkins LLP, where she represented both project sponsors and lenders in development and financing transactions. Her career at Latham & Watkins included working very closely with the Orion Energy team on multiple transactions.
