Scott Thanisch

Scott Thanisch has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Scott is currently serving as the Executive Vice President & Chief Financial Officer at Orion Group Holdings, Inc. Prior to this, they worked as the Co-Owner and CFO at MDR Partners. Scott also held various roles at CHC Helicopter, including Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, Treasurer and Vice President, FP&A. Scott previously worked at PLH Group, Inc. as the Treasurer and Director of Finance. Before joining PLH Group, they held positions at Dell, where they were the Director of Strategic and Transformation Finance and Director of Corporate Development. Scott's earlier experience includes Vice President, Treasury and Corporate Development at Sabre Inc., as well as roles in financial planning, corporate finance, and sales. Scott began their career at Lomas Mortgage as a Capital Markets Specialist and later served as an Accounting Specialist.

Scott Thanisch earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Accounting from The University of Texas at Austin, where they studied from 1989 to 1993. Later, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree at Southern Methodist University from 1995 to 1997.
