Sonja Cox

Sonja Cox, PHR, SHRM-CP, SWP, currently serves as the HR Director of Operations at ORION since September 2021. With a robust background in human resources, Sonja has held various leadership roles, including Human Resources Director at Meraki Solar, LLC from April 2020 to September 2021, and at Skanska from February 2019 to March 2020. Prior experience includes positions as HR Business Partner/Manager at Jetstream of Houston, Global Corporate Recruiter at LyondellBasell, and HR Manager at Gulf Coast MRI & Diagnostic. Sonja began her career as an Executive Search Consultant at Accretive Solutions, followed by roles as Sr. Recruiter at PPandT and Recruiter at Whitaker Consulting. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from the University of Houston-Clear Lake and additional coursework at Rice University.
