Peter Seely's work experience begins in 1998 with a role as a Software Developer at CARIS. This role lasted for a year. In 1998, they also worked as a Technical Architect at the Government of New Brunswick for two years.
Peter then moved on to Fujitsu America, Inc., where they held two roles. After that, they transitioned to the position of Solution Architect at Orion Health, where they were responsible for solution architecture and implementation for Orion Health's clients. Notably, they were involved in the HEALTPeter Newfoundland and Labrador project, which aimed to integrate various provincial information sources into a provincial Electronic Health Record initiative.

Prior to that, they attended the University of New Brunswick from an unknown start year until 1995, where they studied Business Administration but did not complete a degree.
