Shawn Riesterer

Shawn Riesterer has over 20 years of experience in the IT industry. Shawn started their career as a Help Desk Assistant at the University of Wisconsin - Green Bay in 2001, before moving on to roles at GE Fanuc as a Software Engineer, Independent Printing Inc. as a Lead Programmer/Analyst, and eventually Orion Lighting, where they progressed from Software Engineering Manager to Senior IT Manager, and finally, Director of IT. Throughout their career, Shawn has successfully implemented various systems and processes to improve efficiency, quality standards, and financial reporting within their teams.

Shawn Riesterer attended Valders High School from 1995 to 1999. Shawn then pursued an associate degree in Computer Science at the University of Wisconsin-Manitowoc from 1999 to 2001. Shawn furthered their education by obtaining a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay from 2001 to 2004. In 2010, they briefly studied Photography at Northeast Wisconsin Technical College. Additionally, in March 2012, Shawn obtained a certification as a Certified ScrumMaster from the Scrum Alliance.
