Matthew Hammond

Matthew Hammond is an experienced professional in government affairs and strategic leadership, currently serving as the Columbus Lead Director at Orion Strategies since October 2022. Previously, Matthew held the position of Executive Director at The Empowerment Alliance and Associate Vice President at Majority Strategies in early 2022. Matthew also served as Executive Vice President at the Ohio Oil and Gas Association from March 2018 until January 2022, following a role as Principal at Vorys Advisors LLC from late 2015 to early 2018. Matthew's extensive background includes senior roles at Chesapeake Energy, where responsibilities encompassed Government Affairs and Corporate Development, and a Vice President position at Strategic Public Partners Group.
