Chris Hurst

Chris Hurst has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Chris started their career in the United States Navy as a Surface Warfare Officer from 1989 to 1993. Following that, they worked as a Production Manager at GenCorp from 1993 to 1995. Chris then served as a Financial Administrator for a non-profit organization from 1995 to 2001, overseeing finance and accounting functions. After that, they joined HOPE worldwide as an International Administrator, responsible for training and oversight of overseas affiliates in finance-related areas. Since 2002, they have been associated with Orion Talent, initially as an East Coast Recruiting Manager and later as the Director of National Military Officer Recruiting. In their current role as Senior Director of Recruiting, they manage East Coast exempt recruiting and works with clients to source and place veterans and industry professionals in various fields.

Chris Hurst attended the University of Virginia from 1985 to 1989, where they obtained a BS in Commerce with a concentration in Finance. In 2000, they obtained certification as a Certified Public Accountant from the AICPA.
