Bert van Veen

Bert van Veen has extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry, serving as Interim Head of Biologics CMC and Director, Head of Pharmaceutical Sciences at Orion Corporation since September 2004. Bert has led various teams and researchers in the development of formulations and manufacturing processes for both small molecules and biotherapeutics. Key achievements include overseeing the successful FDA approval of darolutamide (Nubeqa) and managing formulation research and development teams to innovate in drug formulation technologies. Prior to Orion Corporation, Bert was a Project Manager in the Department of Pharmaceutics at the University of Kuopio. Bert holds a Ph.D. in Math and Nature Sciences and an M.Sc. in Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Technology from the University of Groningen.
