Muriel Joubert

Muriel Joubert is an experienced professional in the field of medicinal chemistry with a focus on drug discovery and project management. Currently serving as the Chemistry Lead for Hit Finding Strategy at Orion Corporation since December 2015, Muriel plays a pivotal role in pain and oncology therapy areas. Prior to this, Muriel held positions as a Research Project Leader and Senior Scientist within Orion, leading various discovery projects in neurological disorders and medicinal chemistry. Muriel’s career includes significant roles at Prestwick Chemical SAS, where project leadership in medicinal chemistry was a key focus, and academic experience as a postdoctoral fellow at Université Louis Pasteur and Emory University. Muriel holds an engineering degree in chemistry from ENSCMu and a PhD in organic chemistry from Université de Haute-Alsace Mulhouse-Colmar.
