Tiina Lipiäinen

Tiina Lipiäinen is a Research Scientist specializing in Physical Analytics at Orion Corporation since August 2021, and a Board Member of The Finnish Thermal Analysis and Calorimetry Association since April 2019. Previously, Tiina held roles as a Research Scientist in Formulation and Physical Analytics at Orion Corporation, and as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Helsinki, where Tiina also completed a PhD in Industrial Pharmacy. Research interests include stability and analysis of solid-state forms in pharmaceutical powders and the development of Raman spectroscopy methods for solid-state quantification. Tiina's early career includes positions in R&D and project work at various organizations, including Medix Biochemica and Vetcare, and a visiting researcher role at the University of Otago. Education credentials include a Doctor of Philosophy from the University of Helsinki and a Master's degree in Biotechnology.
