Veli-Matti Hautaniemi

Veli-Matti Hautaniemi is an experienced engineering professional with a diverse background in mechanical engineering and production management. Currently serving as Engineering Manager at Orion Corporation since October 2016, Veli-Matti has previously held positions as Production Engineer at both Orion Corporation and Hefmec Engineering Oy, where employment spanned from November 2010 to October 2016. Additional roles include Mechanical Engineer/Micromachining at Precia Oy and Maintenance Manager at Sataservice Oy. Veli-Matti began the career as Service Engineer/Manager at Vesantti Oy from August 2003 to January 2008. Educationally, Veli-Matti holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, specializing in machine automation and mechatronics from Helsingin Ammattikorkeakoulu Stadia, and is currently pursuing a Master of Engineering - MEng in Industrial Intelligence at Metropolia University of Applied Sciences.
