Christopher Malsam

Christopher Malsam is a seasoned finance professional with diverse experience in quantitative analysis and institutional trading. Currently serving as a Quantitative Portfolio Manager for Custom Indexing at Orion since May 2020, Malsam previously held the position of Institutional Trader at the same firm. Prior experience includes working as an Equity Research Analyst at Craig-Hallum Capital Group and a Financial Analyst at Wells Fargo. Malsam began a career in finance as a Bank Examiner with the Nebraska Department of Banking and Finance, followed by a role as a Lead Generator at Mutual of Omaha and an internship as a Financial Representative at Northwestern Mutual. Malsam holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Northern State University, completed in 2015.
