Erik Depla

Erik Depla has a diverse work experience in the field of biology and project management. Erik began their career in 1992 as a PostDoc at Katholieke Universiteit Leuven, where they worked until 1995. Erik then joined Innogenetics as a Project Manager and stayed with the company for 11 years. In 2007, Erik moved to Ablynx as a Senior Project Manager, holding the position for 8 years. In 2015, they joined VIB as an Expert in Discovery Biology until 2017. Finally, Erik is currently working at Orionis Biosciences as the Director of Biology, a role they have held since October 2017.

Erik Depla obtained their PhD in Biochemistry from KU Leuven between 1983 and 1991. Prior to that, they attended Klein Seminarie Roeselare from 1977 to 1983, but information on their degree and field of study is not provided.
