Jason Tam is a highly experienced data scientist with a comprehensive background in statistical analysis and data modeling across various sectors, including environmental science and particle physics. Currently serving as a Senior Statistical Data Scientist at Oritain, Jason has played a pivotal role in scaling data capabilities as the company expanded. Previous experiences include work as an Honorary Academic at The University of Auckland and as a Data Scientist at enviPath, where Jason contributed to the development of applications for microbial biotransformation. Additional roles include Senior Scientist at Mote Ltd., Senior Project Scientist at International Earth Sciences IESE Ltd., Hydraulic Modeller and Data Analyst at Mott MacDonald, and Research Associate at CERN. Jason holds a Master of Professional Studies in Data Science from The University of Auckland and a Doctor rerum naturalium in Experimental Particle Physics from The Julius Maximilians University of Würzburg, along with other degrees in Physics.
