John Garvin

John Garvin is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in technical and financial asset management within the aviation industry. Currently serving as the Director of Technical Asset Management and Head of Sustainability at ORIX Aviation since March 2018, John has established a Technical Asset Management function, overseen maintenance cash flow, and led initiatives for embedding an ESG program. Previous roles include Vice President of Technical and Financial Asset Management at ORIX Aviation, as well as senior management positions at AerCap, Al Arabi Heavy Equipment Lease Company, Bank of Ireland, Lombard Ireland Ltd, and Volkswagen Bank GmbH. John holds multiple degrees, including an MSc in Finance from Trinity College Dublin and a Diploma in Aviation Leasing & Finance from the Law Society of Ireland.
