Dan Ronnen

Dan Ronnen is Senior Managing Director, Chief Compliance Officer and Deputy General Counsel for ORIX Corporation USA.

Prior to joining ORIX USA, he was Managing Director at BlackRock, Inc., where he was responsible for legal coverage of the private equity partners and infrastructure businesses. Mr. Ronnen brings extensive experience in the global alternative investments space, having advised business leaders on fund, product structuring, regulatory, compliance and transactional matters as well as carried interest and alternative investment bonus plans.

Before his time at BlackRock, which included time at Merrill Lynch Investment Managers before it was acquired by BlackRock in 2006, Mr. Ronnen worked as an associate at the international law firms Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson, and Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft, respectively.

Mr. Ronnen holds a Juris Doctor from Columbia University School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Rutgers University.
