Cornelio Delgado

Cornelio Delgado is a seasoned professional in sustainability and environmental, social, and governance (ESG) performance. Currently serving as the Director of Sustainability at Orla Mining Ltd since July 2022, Cornelio has previously held significant roles at First Majestic Silver Corp., Palladium: Make It Possible, and the Lundin Foundation, focusing on sustainable economic development strategies and community engagement in the mining sector. Educational achievements include a Master of Public Administration specializing in Natural Resources Management from Queen's University and a Bachelor of Science in Natural Resource Economics from Pontificia Universidad Católica del Ecuador. Cornelio also brings experience from a Vice Minister role at the Ministry Coordinator of Production, Competitiveness, and a consultant position with DAI, underscoring a deep commitment to fostering sustainable practices in resource management.
