Katherine Guise

Katherine Guise currently serves as a Medical Laboratory Scientist I at Orlando Health, a position held since August 2022, and previously worked as a Lab Assistant II. Prior experience includes serving as a Laboratory Research Assistant at the University of Central Florida Biology Department from May 2021 to December 2022, where Katherine conducted research on microplastic filtering and identification and assisted in mangrove gardening and shoreline/oyster reef restoration projects. Additional experience includes a role as Front of House Trainer at Chipotle Mexican Grill from August 2019 to August 2022. Katherine is pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Sciences at the University of Central Florida, expected to be completed in 2024, and holds an Associate of Arts degree as well as a Phlebotomy Certification from Florida Health Care Academy.
