Mahmoud Bakeer

As chief quality officer of Orlando Health South Lake Hospital, Mahmoud Bakeer, MD, oversees the quality and safety of all programs and services offered at the hospital. He collaborates with leadership and medical staff to support activities, processes and policies that result in high-quality patient care that aligns with systemwide clinical practices and standards.

Mahmoud joined Orlando Health in 2011 as a critical care medicine physician and held subsequent leadership roles including medical director of critical care medicine and chief medical quality officer before transitioning to chief quality officer at Orlando Health South Lake Hospital.
