Roman Malkin

Roman Malkin is an accomplished cybersecurity professional currently serving as the Director of Security Operations and Engineering at Orlando Health, where responsibilities include leading the Security Engineering team and Security Operations Center (SOC) for a large-scale hospital system while driving improvements in the security program. Previously, Roman held the position of Director of IT Security and Compliance CISO at Red Lobster, overseeing the design and implementation of scalable network infrastructure and a comprehensive InfoSec program. Prior experience includes roles at Darden as a Senior Network Security Engineer, Lockheed Martin supporting corporate MPLS networks, and MPInet providing onsite engineering support. Roman holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from the Florida Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Management Information Systems from the University of Central Florida.
