Julio Hernandez holds a Master of Medical Science from Emory University School of Medicine and a Master of Education in Public Health Education and Promotion from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, alongside a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from the University of South Florida. Currently serving as a Physician Assistant and Athletic Trainer at Orlando Orthopaedic Center since January 2018, Julio Hernandez has previously gained extensive experience as a Certified Athletic Trainer with the Atlanta Braves from December 2012 to July 2015 and the Miami Marlins, L.P. from November 2006 to November 2012. Additional experience includes a role as a Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer at the University of Alabama at Birmingham and as a Student Athletic Trainer with the Tampa Bay Rays. Credentials also include certifications as a Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC), Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), and Corrective Exercise Specialist (CES).
