Carly Polejes is an experienced educator currently serving as a Fourth Grade Math and Science Teacher at Orlando Science Schools since July 2023. Previously, Carly worked as a Fourth Grade Math Teacher at The Belair Edison School within Baltimore City Public Schools from August 2022 to June 2023. Carly's educational journey includes participation as a Fellow in Urban Teachers from June 2021 to June 2023 and roles such as a Student Assistant in Accessibility and Disability Services and Scholarship Director for Kappa Alpha Theta, Gammu Mu Chapter. Additionally, Carly interned for Honorable Judge Kevin B. Weiss at the Ninth Judicial Circuit Court of Florida and for Representative Debbi Lesko in the U.S. House of Representatives. Carly's educational background encompasses a Master’s degree in Elementary Education and Teaching from Johns Hopkins University School of Education and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminology and Criminal Justice from the University of Maryland.
