Michael Laderman has extensive experience in public relations and marketing. Michael is currently the Director of Public Relations and Marketing for Orlando Shakes, where they lead all media and public relations, marketing, advertising, crisis communications, social media, community relations, and overall brand management. Prior to that, they were the Executive Director of Public Relations and Brand Management for 20 A-M Productions, overseeing daily operations, staff management, community outreach, media relations, and fundraising campaigns. Michael has also worked as a Featured Contributing Author for a college textbook on public relations writing and as the Director of Public Relations and Marketing for the Orlando Museum of Art. In addition, they have held positions at Clemson University, Barry University, Nova Southeastern University, and various TV and radio outlets. Throughout their career, they have been involved in media relations, event management, and sports information.
Michael Laderman's education history includes a Bachelor's degree in Humanities from Nova Southeastern University and an Associate's degree in Journalism from Broward College. Additionally, they attended Plantation High School from 1982 to 1986. Michael also holds certifications in Crisis Communications from the United States Department of Homeland Security - Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), including the Incident Command System (ICS) and the National Incident Management System (NIMS).
