Derek Hudson

Derek Hudson, MBA, PMP, currently serves as the Public Relations Manager at Orlando Utilities Commission (OUC - The Reliable One), where there is a focus on media relations and stakeholder engagement. With extensive experience in public relations and strategic communications, Derek has held key positions including Public Involvement Project Manager at Resource Environmental Solutions, Public Information Officer for the City of Leesburg, and Director of Public Information & Public Outreach at Global-5 Communications. As the owner of Inspired Jazz, Derek is involved in music production and performance as a saxophonist. Educationally, Derek holds an MBA from Rollins College and a Bachelor of Science in Physical Science from the United States Naval Academy.
