Mark Andersen serves as the Emerging Technologies Project Manager at Orlando Utilities Commission (OUC - The Reliable One) since July 2021, where responsibilities include managing the execution of emerging technology projects and coordinating with various stakeholders. Previously, Mark held multiple roles at The Walt Disney Company from 1986 to 2020, including Senior Engineering Program Manager, where Mark focused on predictive maintenance data systems for theme park attractions, and Manager of Show Systems Engineering, overseeing a multi-disciplinary engineering team to enhance project processes and operational efficiencies. Earlier career roles include Principal Software Engineer at Walt Disney Imagineering and Software Engineer positions focused on control system design and reliability for theme park attractions. Mark holds a Master's Degree in Engineering Management from the University of Central Florida and a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
