Henry Chamberlain is an experienced professional with a diverse background in public service, research, and management. Currently serving as an Intern Interviewer at Orleans Public Defenders, Henry focuses on collecting data related to discriminatory practices in the legal system and provides support to individuals charged with crimes. Previously, Henry interned for Councilwoman Latoya Cantrell at the New Orleans City Council, where responsibilities included community outreach event planning, policy research, and social media management. Other roles include construction work at Voiron Companies, LLC, crew leadership in painting with Neubert Painting, and customer service at Gap Inc./Old Navy. Henry's early career also included a summer internship at Cleveland Clinic, assisting with data-related tasks in Neuro-Oncology. Henry holds a Bachelor of Political Economy from Tulane University, completed in 2016.

The Orleans Public Defenders Office (OPD) aims to provide the citizens of Orleans Parish and each eligible client with the highest quality, client-centered legal representation in Louisiana's criminal justice system - zealous, conscientious, caring, professional, ethical and skilled - whether in criminal, municipal or traffic court. OPD is a community-oriented defender office built upon that zealous defense of the poor and indigent while acknowledging the strengths of clients, families and communities. Established in 2007, OPD represents nearly 20,000 court-appointed clients each year.
