Orleans Public Defenders
Kyla Burke is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in social work and community outreach. Currently serving as a Kendall Vick Fellow at Orleans Public Defenders since March 2019, Kyla previously held the position of Social Work Intern within the same organization in 2018. Additional experience includes roles such as Front End Cashier at Whole Foods Market and Media and Marketing Coordinator at Riverzedge Arts with AmeriCorps VISTA, where innovative initiatives for youth empowerment were developed. Previous internships in media included positions at Boston Globe Media's RadioBDC, Clothes to Kids Rhode Island as a Social Media Coordinator, and WCVB-TV's CityLine. Kyla holds a Master of Social Work from Tulane University and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Media Studies from Emmanuel College.
