Tyler Casteel

Tyler Casteel has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Tyler started as an Engineering Intern at Ascent Solar Technologies, Inc. in 2009. Later, they worked as an Engineering Intern at ITN Energy Systems in 2013, where they researched and developed alternative energy storage solutions. Tyler then joined Profugo as a Natural Resource Management Program Manager, where they led projects to improve natural resource management and quality of life in the community. In 2015, they worked as a Project Engineer at ITN Energy Systems, where they identified cost-driving components and developed supplier relationships to reduce costs and improve performance. Tyler then pursued an M.S. in Sustainable Engineering at Villanova University, specializing in electric power systems engineering and sustainability. After completing their degree in 2019, they joined Ormat Technologies, Inc. as a Data Scientist, where they managed a team and developed data-driven solutions for battery storage systems. Overall, Tyler has a strong background in engineering, energy storage, and data science.

Tyler Casteel completed a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Chemical Engineering from Villanova University, which took place from 2009 to 2013. Later, from 2016 to 2019, they pursued and attained a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Sustainable Engineering from the same institution.
