Thomas Lee

Tommy Lee, Ph.D., serves as the Discovery Team Lead - Immunologist and Principal Scientist at Orna Therapeutics, where responsibilities include leading key projects in autoimmunity, immuno-oncology, and vaccine development since January 2020. Previously, Tommy contributed to the SQZ Biotechnologies team focusing on pre-clinical therapies for autoimmunity and completed doctoral studies at Baylor College of Medicine, emphasizing T cell-mediated autoimmunity. Additional experience includes research and management roles at UT Southwestern Medical Center. Tommy has been recognized with multiple awards, including the Phosphorus Circle Award at Orna and has a notable history of publications and presentations in immunology. Leadership roles include founding diversity initiatives and mentoring within Orna Therapeutics.
