Yael Zigelman

Yael Zigelman is a scientist with extensive experience in synthetic biology and plasmid production. Currently serving as the Head of Plasmid Production at Orna Therapeutics, Yael leads large-scale DNA purification and cloning projects while providing expertise in complex cloning tasks. Previous roles include Senior Research Associate I at LifeMine Therapeutics, where Yael designed and executed cloning of gene clusters, and as a Synthetic Biology Scientist at BiomX Inc., focusing on engineered phages and bacterial strains. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Molecular Genetics from the Weizmann Institute of Science and a Bachelor's degree in Biotechnology from Tel Aviv University. Additionally, Yael has experience in teaching and customer service, showcasing a diverse skill set.
