Lorinda Lee has an extensive work experience in the field of Human Resources. Lorinda currently holds the position of Chief Human Resources and Labour Relations Officer at Ornge since August 2023. Prior to this, they worked as the Chief Human Resources Officer at Oak Valley Health from December 2020 to August 2023, where they were responsible for developing and executing human resource strategies.
Before joining Oak Valley Health, Lorinda served as the Senior Director and Executive Transformation Lead, Human Resources at Humber River Hospital from April 2017 to November 2020. In this role, they led the hospital's people strategy and HR operations, and played a crucial role in pandemic planning.
From August 2013 to April 2017, Lorinda worked as the Director of Human Resources at University Health Network, where they directed all HR functions for a large and diverse workforce. Prior to that, they held managerial positions at the Ministry of Government Services and the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care.

Lorinda then pursued further education at Tyndale University, where they earned a Master of Theological Studies degree in Intercultural Communications in 2000. In the same year, they obtained their Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) designation from HRPA (Human Resources Professionals Association).
In 2002, Lorinda Lee completed their Bachelor of Adult Education degree at Brock University, specializing in Training and Development. Lorinda further expanded their knowledge in the field by obtaining certifications such as the Occupational Health & Safety Level 1 & 2 Certification from OSACH/IAPA in 2008, and the Executive Health Leadership Program from the University of Toronto - Rotman School of Management in 2016.
Lorinda Lee pursued their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Applied Management and Decision Science, specializing in Leadership and Organizational Change, at Walden University from 2009 to 2017. Concurrently, in 2017, they also obtained a Certificate in Advance HR Law for Executives from York University - Osgoode Hall Law School.
