Hari Kumaran Babu

Hari Kumaran Babu has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries.

Hari Kumaran is currently the Director UX at ORO since November 2021.

Prior to that, they worked at Freshworks as a Senior Product Designer from January 2020 to November 2021. During their time at Freshworks, they worked on designing and building various IT service management solutions. Hari Kumaran also played a role in revamping the design philosophy and language across Freshservice.

Before joining Freshworks, they worked at Oneistox as a Lead Mentor from September 2020 to April 2021, where they conducted online workshops on designing for Augmented Reality.

From 2017 to 2019, Hari worked at Trimble Inc. in multiple roles. Hari Kumaran served as a Senior Interaction Designer and was involved in various digital product projects related to the trucking industry. Hari Kumaran also worked on Trimble Pulse Remote Expert, a cloud and mobile platform product for enterprise fleets, and Trimble Connect, a cloud platform product used in the construction industry. Additionally, they started as an Interaction Design Intern and worked on mixed reality projects using Microsoft HoloLens.

Hari Kumaran also has experience as an Independent Design Consultant at HKB Design, where they worked on branding and marketing creatives for various clients. Hari Kumaran was also involved in graphic design, VFX, editing, cinematography, direction, and animation for multiple film projects.

Other experiences include working as a Product Design Consultant at PLANezy, a Marketing Design Consultant at Snowman Branding Services Pvt. Ltd, and a Manager at Reliance Industries Limited.

In addition, Hari has held leadership positions in organizations such as Festember, where they served as Design Head, and Feeds NITT, where they were the Design Editor.

Hari Kumaran Babu completed their education in a chronological manner. Hari Kumaran pursued their Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering from the National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli from 2009 to 2013. Afterward, they went on to pursue a Master's Degree in Interaction Design from the National Institute of Design, where they studied from 2015 to 2018.
