Emilie Bourgeault

Emilie Bourgeault has a diverse work experience in the field of dermatology and telemedicine. Emilie started their career as a dermatologist at CDQM dermatologues from September 2017 to September 2018. In December 2017, they co-founded DermaGO.ca, a bilingual teledermatology clinic that has provided online access to certified dermatologists for over 13,000 patients across Canada. Emilie worked as a co-founder at DermaGO.ca until June 2020. Emilie also served as a dermatologist at GTB Dermatologues from September 2018 to June 2020. In 2018, they began working as an expert media contributor, sharing their skincare and teledermatology expertise with various media outlets, including CBC and Radio-Canada. Since August 2020, they have been working as a dermatologist at Cliniques Médicales Lacroix. Additionally, Emilie is currently serving as the Co-founder and CEO at OROHealth, a med tech company that utilizes artificial intelligence and machine learning to revolutionize healthcare access and experience. Emilie'srole at OROHealth started in June 2020.

Emilie Bourgeault began their education journey in 2003 at McGill University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology and Exercise Science. Emilie studied at McGill for four years, graduating in 2007. Following their undergraduate studies, Emilie attended the Northern Ontario School of Medicine from 2007 to 2011, earning their Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree. Finally, Emilie completed their education at Université Laval from 2011 to 2016, where they successfully completed the Dermatology Residency Program, earning their FRCPC qualification.
