Jaynal Abedin

Md Jaynal Abedin is a seasoned professional in data science and biostatistics, currently serving as the Manager of Data Science and Biostatistics at ORRECO since August 2020, where Md Jaynal leads a motion tracking data analysis project to identify patterns related to non-contact injuries in athletes. Prior to this role, Md Jaynal Abedin was a Senior Data Scientist and Biostatistician at the Insight Centre for Data Analytics (June 2015 - August 2020) and completed a PhD at icddr,b (August 2009 - June 2015). Md Jaynal Abedin's extensive experience also includes roles as Senior Statistician, Statistician, Senior Statistical Officer, and Statistical Officer at icddr,b, and as a Statistical Programmer at Shafi Consultancy, alongside earlier work as a Data Entry Officer at Social Marketing Company. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Data Science from the University of Galway (2015 - 2020) and an M.Sc in Statistics from Rajshahi University, Bangladesh (2005 - 2006).
