Carolyn Older Bortner

Carolyn Older Bortner has extensive work experience in the legal field. Carolyn Older began their career at Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, where they worked as a Job Developer and Career Counselor from 1996-1998. Carolyn Older then moved on to Clifford Chance US LLP, where they served as the Manager of Legal Recruiting from 1999-2004. Following this, Carolyn joined Clifford Chance as the Manager of Professional Development and Associate Life from 2004-2007. Currently, they are employed at Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP, where they have held the positions of Director of Lawyer Development from 2007-2020 and Global Head of Legal Talent - Performance & Operations since April 2020.
