Stephanie Shontz

Stephanie Shontz has over 20 years of experience in human resources, with their most recent role being the Head of Human Resources at Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP. In this position, they acted as a strategic business partner, developing and delivering human resource strategies in line with the organization's objectives. Prior to this, they worked as the Director of Human Resources, Tax at KPMG, where they led HR procedures and programs for the Tax practice. Stephanie also has experience as a Senior Consultant at Ernst & Young and served as an HR Generalist at JL Hammett. Stephanie started their career as a Corporate Recruiter at Metromedia Restaurant Group and later became the Manager of Recruiting and Placement at Culinaire International. Stephanie has a strong background in talent management, employee engagement, and HR strategy.

Stephanie Shontz holds an MBA degree from Southern Methodist University - Cox School of Business (1999-2001) and a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in RHIM from Texas Tech University (1989-1991). Prior to that, they attended the University of Oklahoma (1987-1989) to study business, although they did not obtain a specific degree from there. Additionally, they obtained the SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) certification from SHRM in July 2015, and they also hold a PHR certification from the HR Certification Institute - HRCI.
