Melanie Hamilton is an experienced professional in the fields of psychology and disability support. Currently serving as Team Leader for Positive Behaviour Support at ORS Group since May 2021, Melanie also functions as a Provisional Psychologist and Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner in a private practice. Previous roles include Disability Support Worker at Lifeplan Disability Services WA and Humdrum, as well as a Disability and Mental Health Support Worker. Melanie's earlier experience includes volunteer work as a Team Leader at Cahoots Org and positions in hospitality, including Team Member at Grill'd Healthy Burgers and Bar Staff and Cashier at Perth Social Club. A large percentage of our Consultants are culturally and linguistically diverse (32%) with many who also speak other languages including Mandarin, Cantonese and Arabic. ORS proudly employs people with lived experience of disability and with family members with lived experience; and people who identify as LGBTIQA.
