Michael Haugaard Nielsen

Michael Haugaard Nielsen is a Project Manager at Ørsted, specializing in SCADA packages for offshore wind farms. They have a diverse background, having previously worked as a Professional Cyclist, participating in multiple Classics and World Championships, and achieving two stage wins in Danmark Rundt. Their engineering experience includes roles at DONG Energy, where they served as a SCADA Control Engineer, and ABB, supporting oil and gas projects in the North Sea. Michael holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Southern Denmark and completed their secondary education at Solrød Gymnasium.
