Alden Milam

Alden Milam is the Chief Medical Officer and an Orthopedic Spine Surgeon at OrthoCarolina, a position held since September 2003, during which various leadership roles have been undertaken, including serving on the Executive Committee. Prior to this, Alden completed a spine surgery fellowship at University Hospitals of Cleveland under Dr. Henry Bohlman from July 2002 to June 2003, and underwent orthopedic surgery residency training at the University of Pennsylvania Health System from July 1997 to June 2002. Alden earned an MD from Vanderbilt University School of Medicine between 1993 and 1997 and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry with a focus on Pre-Med from Furman University from 1988 to 1992.
