Gil Shlamovitz

Gil Shlamovitz, MD FACEP, FAMIA, currently serves as a Professor of Clinical Emergency Medicine at the Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California, while also holding the position of Chief Medical Informatics Officer at Keck Medicine of USC. With extensive experience in direct patient care across various emergency departments, including LAC+USC Medical Center and USC Verdugo Hills Hospital, Gil has a strong focus on clinical information systems and strategic planning for healthcare technology. Previous roles include Medical Director of Clinical Informatics at Harris Health System and Assistant Professor at Baylor College of Medicine, where responsibilities encompassed educating medical students and residents. Gil's medical education includes an MD from Tel Aviv University and extensive training in emergency medicine and medical informatics.
