Julia Prince

Julia Prince has a diverse work experience in the medical and engineering fields. Julia is currently working as the Associate Director of Marketing, Enabling Technologies at Orthofix since May 2023. Before that, they held the position of Associate Director of Product Strategy, Enabling Technologies at SeaSpine from March 2023 to May 2023. Prior to that, they were a Senior Product Manager at both SeaSpine and 7D Surgical from August 2021 to March 2023. Additionally, they have experience as a Market Development Manager - Strategic Partnerships and Clinical Engineer at 7D Surgical from January 2020 to August 2021 and from June 2017 to January 2020 respectively. Julia also worked as a Design Engineer at Genetesis in 2017 and as a Research Assistant & Design Engineer at Kingston General Hospital from 2014 to 2016. Julia started their career as a Biomechanical Design Engineer at TEAM - Technology, Engineering, and Management in 2014.

Julia Prince holds a Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) degree in Biomechanics and Medical Device Design from Queen's University. Julia also has a Bachelor of Science in Engineering (B.Sc.Eng) in Mechanical Engineering from the same institution. Julia further obtained a Product Management Certification from BrainStation. In 2015, they completed the Tri-Council Policy Statement: Ethical Conduct for Research Involving Humans Course on Research Ethics (TCPS2: CORE) offered by the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC).
